Kawana
First off let me say that I was thrilled to be taking a tour like this, I'm still only a level 1 coaster nerd, but it was still awesome. Thanks to KIC, Kings Island, and Don Helbig for making this all possible. Special thanks to Don for answering my questions with an answer and not some PC babble that we've all heard before. I know you've all seen more than enough pictures from the tour, but I thought I'd share some of my favorites. WARNING: The following pictures are not Gordon Bombay quality. You've been warned. Diamondback is truly a great addition to the park as it towers above all. My best try to get artistic with things. Something old, something new. This waterfall will add a ton of charm to the ride, I think. Train shot. All in all the day was great, aside from the nasty weather, I had a chance to make some new friends, and spend a great day with people who share the same interests as I do. Thanks to violakat and her husband for driving myself and Nemo around, the conversation was probably the highlight of my day. clbehymer, it was nice to meet you, I love putting faces to names. Avatar, CoastersRZ and Cory Butcher thanks for your patience while trying to explain the intricate nature of Disney to me, and thanks for letting me know that a trip like that could be in my reach someday. Sorry I couldn't go to Krazy City with you all, but my back had just about had it by then. I'm sorry if anyone was expecting more from me this time, but I'm writing this in agonizing pain and truthfully I'm lucky to be able to sit upright. I know this wasn't my best effort, but I thought you'd all like to see a little from my viewpoint. I know I don't do many PTRs but I do truly enjoy sharing my experiences with the fantastic people I've met on these forums. Thanks for reading/looking. XGatorHead 8904
You just had to jump up and try to touch the track in front of The Crypt now, didn't you? I should have warned you not to... Better get that back in shape before April 18th, and don't do any further damage to it during your move next month!
standbyme
You should have had a few people take there shoes off during the tour (before it started raining) and taken another one of your "sock photos" and claimed that the park made everyone take their shoes off while they were walking through the construction area...I think a few people would have believed it for a minute! I'm still only a level 1 coaster nerd. I think that's a plus...it's kind of like tattoos...you gotta know when to say when...if you get to the point where you know EVERYTHING about a coaster I think it ruins the fun. WARNING: The following pictures are not Gordon Bombay quality. You've been warned. I know how you feel...it's almost like I want to put this as my signature on my trip reports...but fear not, you DO take nice photos. I hope your back gets better real soon...and thanks for taking the time (and enduring the pain) to post this report!
Kawana
For those waiting with bated breath, yours truly has only strained his lower back muscles. With the assistance of an NSAID and exercises he should be back to normal soon. Gator, I just couldn't help myself, you know? Stanbyme, thanks for the encouragement. I can't shoot Manual all the time like the pros, but maybe someday I'll get there.

Kawana
The lens seems to be fine. My back however, is not. It's getting there, but I'm still a ways off.
