Twister Construction Thread

Featured Replies

I`d imagine there will be. It is a given that there will be some sort of fence separating the parking lot from the Sunlite Pool area.

Remember that the Twister is only occupying about 1/3 of the land that the Zoom Flume did, so there will be more open grass area this year at Sunlite Pool, which opens for the season on Saturday, May 23.

I've never been to Coney. I'll have to try to get down there in the next couple of years. Well, I've been to Coney, just not to ride anything. I went down there to Riverbend for the Nickelback concert in 2007 and will be down there again on Wednesday, August 19, 2009 to see Nickelback again  .

its looking great, what an addition and they could add some more water slides with the open areas if they wanted tooo:

I guess "media day" was this morning on these slides. FOX19 was there and the people/tubes were moving very slow on them. I mean, super slow. I didnt think slides had to warm up to provide faster slides. Am I wrong?

The total speed of the slide depends on how much water they have flowing. There's a good chance they'll increase the water flow for opening day and beyond.
