This has really made me think, but how do you think the park will expand in the future. I mean, KI owns most of the hundreds of acres of woods behind the park however, i have noticed that they have managed to box themselves in with coasters (In order from left to right: Flight Deck, SOB, AE, Racer, Vortex, Beast, Crypt, Diamondback, Waterpark). I was thinking that x-base was the start of a new themed zone but, that area is boxed in with warehouses

yeah, I think that if KI were to expand in the future, then it would be behind Firehawk and X-base. That would be awesome if KI did expand!

Ha, that would be an interesting teaser campaign for a new ride or something!

I think it would be neat if they did a "Jungle Tour" ride behind Flight Deck or around where the train is. They could have a wilderness safari through the woods and maybe even theming like on the old Coney Island Railroad.

They have that area behind Son of Beast still. Where they used to keep King Cobras old track.

A monorail through an animal habitat would be pretty sweet!

I completely forgot about the Action Theater though, it sits in a spot right on the border, as much as i did like it, maybe them closing it for this year is saying something

Yea that would be a great idea maybe name it "SkyStormer" or something like that.

Kings Island needs a Frisbee...not a giant Frisbee (they have one), but a Frisbee like the one now at Six Flags Great America...the ride experience is totally different, and intense.

^^^ Man would I love for an S&S Swing to come to KI. Fire- uh Night- I mean Skyhawk, yeah that's the one, is my favorite flat at CP. I didn't think it would be anywhere near Delirium or MaxAir because it didn't spin or have a different motion to accompany the swing, but CP got it right when they installed that ride.

As for flats I'd love to see many carnival type flats. Zippers are my favorite, though if they ever made an updated version that was cage-less and perhaps a dutchmen style restraint and seatbelt, I would then be in heaven.

Even though they are keeping it, it does not seem like they care about it too much. I mean, that poor hidden building is looking worse and worse every year. Just like Flight Deck, it could desperately use a new paint job. And as for expanding in that area, maybe they could just build yet another long tunnel underneith one of racers big U-turns and acess the land beyond.

KI changed it before the printer deadline, along with Bubba Gumps will remain as...well whatever it was in '08

That would be Outer Hanks...a name that came north from Carowinds... (a play on Outer Banks...a popular vacation destination down yonder)

I love that ride, it is just too short. They only do 3 swings at the full height .
