Nick Universe Celebrates First Anniversary at MOA

Featured Replies

Can someone post the article, to the ride marathon on GASM at SFOG I believe. (You better not say "yes")

Yes! (I`m not Terpy though!)

Several parks have held similar endurance contests over the years. I believe one radio station out in California did one on the Giant Dipper at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk about ten years back. I thought they also did something more recently than 1998, but I could be wrong.

Hmmm:

the cable network's first standalone theme park.....

Clearly implying there will be more? If so, does this not make it even less likely Viacom would be interested in a chain of seasonal parks also having the rights to Nick Universe in amusement/theme parks?

And I still think it no coincidence that such a standalone theme park was placed in such proximity to Valleyfair, and replaced Camp Snoopy, which had been operated by...Cedar Fair, under a management contract....

I went to MOA back in 2001. Photos do not do justice to the mall, or the amusement park in the center. We rode the log flume, the ferris wheel, the Pepsi roller coaster, and this swinging hatchet ride that went upside down. We were there for 4 days and I took almost 100 photos inside the mall. We still didn't see all of it.
