The contest will feature the greatest gurgitator alive today, Joey "Jaws" Chestnut of San Jose, CA, who catapulted to international fame after defeating Japanese eating legend Takeru Kobayashi at the Nathan's Famous Fourth of July Hot Dog Eating Contest. Chestnut will face off against top ranked eaters including Patrick "Deep Dish" Bertoletti who recently upset Joey in a corn beef sandwich-eating contest....

And it should be noted that Major League Eaters was the group that held the Skyline Chili eating competition at Kings Island over Labor day weekend last year. And Joey Chestnut was one of the participants in the competition last year.

Could this mean we could see the Skyline Chili competition making a return in 2009? It was rather disgusting to witness the competition. Just imagine people eating three ways with their hands!

I can't imagine eating all that grease on those funnel cakes.
