BoddaH1994
No, I'm not quitting! This is just a friendly reminder that there is less than two weeks to place your bid to be one of the first members of the public to ride Diamondback! The auction will officially end on Wednesday, April 15th at 8:30am and the top 192 riders will have the privilege of riding Kings Island's new 230' steel monster before it opens to the public. gigacoaster2k
Is the admission ticket good for only that day at the park, or any day of the season? If it's only good for that day, I want to give my ticket to someone who needs it. If it's good for any day, I'd like to keep it so I can bring a friend another day. tigellinus
^^I believe on the Rex and The Beast podcast with Don, which was very First Ride Auction-centric, Don was claiming that if you were getting into the park that day with other means (i.e. a "Season's Pass") that you could save the ticket for a future visit and give it to someone else. However, better clarity as always would be appreciated on this issue!
gigacoaster2k
However, better clarity as always would be appreciated on this issue! Better clarity as always? Was that ending remark really necessary? I was not in any way complaining about the clarity of Ryan's post, which is completely fine. I merely asked a related question that I felt was valid. Diamondback FOF
I believe that what tigellinus said is correct, that if you are getting in with a season pass (which I assume you are), then you can save the ticket and give it away. BTW, gigacoaster, what bid number are you on the bid board. P.S. Only about 349 hours until KI officially opens for the season at 10 am on April 18. Oh yeah, I can't wait . Actually, my 'better clarity' remark was solely directed at KI and no one else, so sorry if I offended you

I'm just two up above you (currently #130)! Hopefully I'll see you opening day!
Braves0511
This is way off topic, although I will be at the park in 2 weeks...I think the title gives me a good reason to post this? Is it improper for the employee of the month to put in two weeks notice the day after receiving his award?
Beast1979
I still have my original bid of $105 up, and right now I am currently 151. Let's hope I don't fall 41 seats in the next 11 days! Judging that I only fell 40 seats since March 20, I think I may have a chance! Although, there's always the last minute rush......
