Power Outage Disrupts Rides at SFOT

...No injuries occurred as a result of the power failure at about 3:30 p.m.[saturday afternoon.] Six Flags spokeswoman Sharon Parker said a backup system allowed some rides to continue operating. Officials found the source of the outage and restored power at 5:45 p.m.

The park issued rain checks to customers who wanted to leave.

That last sentence is something the old Six Flags would most likely not have done.

Yeah, I thought Six Flags had become "No Rainchecks ever, ever, don't even think about asking."

That said I got a raincheck to SFOT in 1997.
