The park issued rain checks to customers who wanted to leave.

That last sentence is something the old Six Flags would most likely not have done.

Yeah, I thought Six Flags had become "No Rainchecks ever, ever, don't even think about asking."

That said I got a raincheck to SFOT in 1997.
