Well, the numbers are based on industry estimates since some operators do not break out attendance on a per park basis (such as Cedar Fair). So they have to go with estimates provided by industry experts and other key indicators.

At one point in time, when Kings Island was owned by Taft/KECO, they would release the attendance figures right down to the single person. There was no doubting those numbers, as they came straight from the hoarse`s mouth so to speak.
