markhudson17
This is my first TR so it may not be perfect. Woke up Saturday at 7:00 AM with only 4 hours of sleep the night. My cousin arrived around 7:50 and we headed to Wilmington so she could go to an ATM. We got off I-71 at the KI exit around 8:45ish. Pulled up to the light and her car died. After a few minutes we got it going and almost side-swiped someone cuz they pulled over in our lane. We went through the tolls and got parked in the front of the gold pass parking area. Walked up and got to the metal detectors as soon as they started letting the crowd through. We went and rode Diamondback (row 12) and my cousin just loved it. We ended up riding 3 more times before ERT ended. ( Rows 9 , 16, and 15) On our ride in row 15 I turned around and there were 2 fellow KIC'ers behind us, ToastnJelly and Popwar. After DB, we went and rode The Beast (1:2) andthe ride was a lot smoother than it was last year. Then we ran over and rode Vortex (4:1). I don't think that ride can get any rougher. After that, we rode FOF(2:2). The lauch seemed a lot more forceful this year. This is where the fun began for me. After FOF we rode Firehawk(row 2). After waiting an hour for a ride I didn't want to go on at first, I got on and had a blast. Got off the ride and my phone was gone out of my pocket. That was the first thing I have ever lost to KI and was not very happy about it. After Firehawk we went over to ride The Racer(2:2). My lapbar was really loose but only got a small amount of airtime on one hill, and also the trim really killed the return trip. After that, I talked my cousin onto Delirium. She was nervous through the whole line but wanted to ride again when we got off. We got seats 49 and 50. Then we headed for our final ride which was SOB. While we were heading down and about to go in that little tunnel part, we had two guys linejump us. I wasn't very happy but I didn't want to start anything so I kept my mouth shut. Then the ride had some minor technical difficulties. The two linejumpers decided they didn't want to wait and jumped over that gate right after the switchbacks that goes to that access rode. I'm kinda hoping they got in trouble for being in an restricted area. After waiting around 15 minutes they got the ride going and 20 minutes later we got on. We rode 2:2 on the red train and it beat us up. After that, my cousin decided to go to the I.S. shops to do some shopping. After about 45 minutes we left the park at around 5:30. A fun trip but had some bads parts in it too.
The Interpreter
Did you report the lost cellphone? They may well find it. Though it is unlikely, it may even still work. Stranger things have happened. And now you know why loose articles are not permitted on the rides. Imagine if it had hit someone....thankfully, it apparently did not. markhudson17
I did not report it. I was about to replace it and it never worked right anyway. The funny thing was that it was in my buttoned up pocket of my shorts. I never expected it to come out at all
The Interpreter
You MUST report the loss to your cellphone company. If it is found and still working, someone could use it and run up huge charges on your bill. Though it is unlikely, it could happen. And most carriers will hold you responsible for those charges made until you have reported the loss.

gigacoaster2k
I did not report it. I was about to replace it and it never worked right anyway. The funny thing was that it was in my buttoned up pocket of my shorts. I never expected it to come out at all The same thing almost happened to me on DB. I was in the very back seat on the right, and after we got yanked out of the MCBR, I felt something and looked down to see that my snap pocket had opened and my phone was halfway out! I managed to re-secure it just before we hit the helix. I can't believe the forces were THAT strong in the back.
