Things i noticed at kings island

[Mr. Coastermania]

1.Saw Don on friday and talked for a few mins.

2.ride times were great friday.10 to 20 mins max

3.The Beast was running faster to me it seemed.(happy 30 buddy)Could they be running it like it ran 30 years ago just holding back on the trim?

4.fof was a walk on.

5.Great last ride on The Beast friday.Ride att was nice as she discribed what the fireworks looked like from where she was standing since we could not.

6.Saturday was much more busy.

7.saw two KICentral members.One who works at mcd's and one members car that had some cool bumper stckers and a snake head decor on the hood of their car.(Really neat i like it.)

8.Lots of change in the overhead net below Diamondback.

9.Firehawk broke down,

10.does sob run tougher at night or is it just my ribs playing tricks on me?

11.Hmmmm does anyone else see that name on fof wrote as the ride stops before it makes it's final drop ?

The ride opt that was describing the fireworks on Friday night was caitlin. She is awesome. Also if you noticed a kid just kinda chillin in the station not really in any of the rows with a Diamondback first rider t shirt on that was me.

And just so you know it is "ride op" as in ride operator, not ride opt. Just saying, as someone who has been a ride operator for seven season at Coney.

Saturday night i got a last ride on sob and the opt there was really into his job.Way to go.

I recall last summer dealing with a girl that stamped hands when you left the park.She must of been having a bad day and it showed.

Beast seemed faster to me Sunday morning than it did Saturday night, particularly the middle section with the tunnels. I could have swore the second trim was off Sunday morning.

The Beast was amazing, but I know now why everyone says the brakes before the helix ruin them. We were going to slow!

The long brake shed ruins the ride for me. If the slowing was spread throughout the whole thing, I wouldn't have a problem with it, but the sudden slowdown at the end just seems kind of strange.
