Does the Friday of Memorial Day weekend usually have a lot of crowds? I'm trying to decide whether to go then or on a 10 to 8 day next week...

We are going tomorrow night. I'm hoping that with the events on Saturday and Sunday, many people will plan on going those days instead of Friday. I'm hoping it will be similar to the night before Firehawk opened two years ago when the park was virtually empty.
