Tanner Posted May 1, 2003 Posted May 1, 2003 Well to put it quite frankly MATH AND SCIENCE DAYS SUCK! I went last year, for some odd reason the days always seem to be rainy, because the year before it rained too. The park's parking lot is filled with school buses if that gives you an idea on crowds. The wait for Top Gun last year was about 1.5 to 2 hours. Also Tomb Raider was shut down all day because of the Travel Channel doing the shoot on that day. People said if it wasn't raining that day also that Drop Zone and SOB would be shut down because they were filming those. SOB and Drop Zone have already been aired, but not the Tomb Raider. I'd avoid.

DragonLord Posted May 2, 2003 Posted May 2, 2003 Travel and Discovery have already filmed TR (over the winter, it was pretty cool!). One of them will be airing Memorial Day weekend. I'm not sure which one (I belive it is Travel, though). You can contact them through the Internet to ask or you can call KI's marketing team and ask them. If you don't want to call, you can check in at Guest Relations when your at the park and they can check for you. Math and Science days are on the 16th(Friday) and 21st (Wednesday). The park is not opened to the general public on those days. I belive HB/NC will be closed as well, except for Scooby although I don't think that has much to do with calculations with physics and stuff.

TowerGuy Posted May 4, 2003 Posted May 4, 2003 Here is the best advice I can give you, if a ride is not on the list do not anticipate it to be open, however, if rides not on the list are open be thankfull. The rides department will work very hard to get as many rides as they can open. The problem is that the majority of workers are some sort of student and still have class on Friday the sixteenth.
