Andy Posted May 4, 2003 Posted May 4, 2003 Just a little something but when I got at the park around 1 today I was walking out of the entrance area and a security guard grabbed me and said excuse me and when I look back I see w/ him Jessica Simpson, who is really tiny in person, Nick and the rest of 98 degrees w/ their girlfriends. A lot of reporters and head PKI people were with them and I m pretty sure when we got in line for Delirium that they were goin back to SOB or Top Gun.

Let me clerify something for you: The people with them were not reporters, they were camerman and producers with MTV. They were there filming a new reality TV show with Jessica and Nick. The biggest comment I heard was that Jessica really was shorter in person... well she is. She is also a very nice person, all of them were. Just wanted to know if i was right or not. You are 1000% correct. I saw that episode of The Brady Bunch tonight (and before and recorded it). The park that The Brady Bunch went to on the show and in real life was Kings Island. Additionally, on the show and in real life The Brady Bunch lodged at The Kings Island Resort. If you saw The Brady Bunch you would've recognized some rides that are STILL in the park today including The Racer, Eiffel Tower, FLYING EAGLES, and MONSTER.

I am not sure of any specifics of the show's title so you just have to look for something with both of them in it. Odds are nothing will come up till the end of July.

Oh well, big publicity for PKI. Quick Question. Did they get to cut the lines? Or did they have to wait in line like the rest of the guests?
DragonLord Posted May 5, 2003 Posted May 5, 2003 PKILvr, they got to go up the exits and have their own trains. PKI will not let celebrities go into a que line for their own safty. It would be very hard for Security and personal body gaurds to do their job if we were in a que line.

DragonLord Posted May 6, 2003 Posted May 6, 2003 Famous people can visit KI when ever they want. Some call ahead, some don't. It just depends on them. Mandy More was at the park last year with her boyfriend (the tennis player). I am sure we had more, but that was the only one I knew about and saw. She came the same day Aaron Carter was at the park for his concert.

coasterdime Posted May 6, 2003 Posted May 6, 2003 It's always great to see PKI get more publicity! I first saw the group as they boarded Top Gun. In fact, they actually got on the train I just left. At first, I was wondering why they just didn't do their filming when the park was closed, (like most of the Discovery/Travel Channel stuff) but when I saw the reactions of all of the teens.....it answered my questions. Jessica Simpson is hot and all that, but honestly, there were at least 100 cuter babes at the park that day! For this old man of 30, could someone tell me what she sings? Oh, they filmed her playing the basketball game right by The Racer. I'm not sure, but I think she cheated! The filmed her thowing the ball, and then filmed a perfect shot......shot by someone else!

I don't see the big deal. There are always someone famous coming to the park every once in awhile. It isn't the fist time Nick has been to KI. 98 Degrees use to work at KI performing as a Barber Shop Quartet.

That's kinda true.... People are there all of the time.... Lil Bow Wow was there last year and the year before Al Snow (the wrestler) was there last year Nick Lachey and the other member of 98 Degrees have been there (Side Note: Only Nick & Justin actually worked at PKI) Montell Williams is there almost every season (He's a huge fan of The Beast) You never know who you might run into. Maybe Tara Patrick will come back to her old stomping grounds one day...
