Miley Cyrus spent her 16th birthday at Disneyland last year. She said in an ET online interview that she wanted to spend her birthday at the park because "[she] loves roller coasters." If there had been any doubt that her birthday celebration was not a publicity stunt, "I love roller coasters" pretty much confirms that it was. Let's set the record straight: You don't go to Vegas because you like shopping and you don't go to Disneyland because you like thrill rides. That's just not the point.

I agree with the articles premise, but Miley did say "she loves roller coasters" and not "I love thrill rides" , Since Disneyland does have coasters, Miley was correct in saying it the way she wanted too.

I know some girls who like Miley's choice of Disneyland style coasters over some others expectation of Thrill Coasters.

Another reason that they did it at Disneyland is because it's much easier for the Walt Disney Company to close Disneyland for a day (or at least charge $250 a ticket) than WDW.

On a side note, did anyone else see the fireworks from that night. Brief as they were compared to other Disney fireworks shows, they were one of the most amazing displays of fireworks I have ever seen. That being said, I still believe that Disneyland's nightly fireworks show, "Remember, Dreams Come True," is the most amazing fireworks display ever put on by Disney.
