italianchef
Do you miss Phantom Theater? I do. Right now I am listening to the soundtrack of Phantom of the Opera, the most romantic (and expensive) musical I ever took Mrs. Chef to. When I rode Phantom Theater, I felt a little bit of Phantom of the Opera's atmosphere. Additionally, I was greatly reminded of Disney's Haunted Castle - which I rode in WDW in Florida, Disneyland in California, and Tokyo Disney in Japan. Yes, SDATHC is an awesome ride....but it does not have the romantic charm that PT had. That's my opinion anyway. And my wife and most of my friends agree with me. DragonLord
I don't think some of the goings ons in the PT ride was "romantic". "Dirty" would be a good word for some of it. People love the dark rides... I really don't miss PT... but I never really rode it that much anyway. It was a ride I would ride to get out of the sun and relax a little on. In fact, I remember falling asleep in it once. I still haven't riden SDATHC, I haven't ridden anything this year, so maybe I will have a different opinion about that.
Stitch
I miss PT for one reason, I really enjoyed yelling at the animatronic figures and the floating bell hop! I am not a fan of SDATHC so I would rather see a fusion of PT and Smurfs, lol.
bingog34
OK, it was a floating usher, not a bellhop. That's supposed to be winking, but it looks constipated...oh well.
