Directions To KingsIsland

Featured Replies

Ok so my mom is terrified by interstates so I was wondering if there was a back road or an alternative way to Kings Island if it helps any I live in Augusta Kentucky.

the only thing i can think of is to check out mapquest.com and chose the avoid inerstate selection.

^Thanks never thought of that

Do you know where

ELIZABETH ST toward E 4TH ST/ JEFF BOWLING BLVD.
is? Because I looked up directions on MapQuest and that is where they start you (I searched for August, Kentucky with zipcode 40002 [or something like that]). If you know where that is, try this link. You will havew to take state routes, though. I don't think there are "back roads" that cross the river.

You could try taking the auto ferry from Augusta over to Brown County, or take KY 8 up and hit US 68 at the Harsha Bridge connecting Maysville to Aberdeen a few miles downstream.

OK thanks, that should work so i gues we will try this.

Thanks again man.

From my driving experience, interstates are just as bad as a lot of roads around here.

Well it is easy, just take the first star to the right and straight on 'til mor.........(oops wrong park.)

cleaver and I must admit I like your directions as well, but if they follow the yellow brick road that could be Worlds Of Fun!

I thought the wizard currently resided in Sandusky, where he lives in his counting room in the parking lot, toting up his nickels!

True but the wizard left the Fair and later at some point heads back to Kansas .

 I am in the biggest Disney mood right now too.

Okay...THAT was good!

At some point, the Fair board of directors may direct the wizard to leave...and it's Kansas that IS leaving the fair...the place is for sale! :) Even if is named Worlds of FUN...heck, even ValleyFAIR is for sale....Great America already...
