Today I worked out at gold pass parking and was slammed from 10:15 till 2. And was wondering???.

By previous posts here, the park was very busy today...

It was slammed. I went at open 10 until 12:30 when i decided that this was too crazy. I have no clue what was going on, but wow. Gold pass was entirely packed and every ride had huge lines. The walkways were almost impossible to walk through.

Im glad I wasn't there. Glad to see the park busy though.

A lot of people are taking their vacation this week so that may be why It seemed mote busy today.

Yup, the park encountered a lot of vacationers yesterday. I was there and everywhere you glanced in the parking lot you would see license plates from different states. There were also A LOT of people carrying maps and trying to find there way around. GWL was also packed, i got a good glance of the overcrowded pool while riding Flight Deck. I will agree though, it is good to see the park busy. On a side note, the ride ops on Crypt were very enthusiastic yesterday as opposed to how they usually are. It was surprisingly pleasant.

A friend of mind visiting the park today said the line for The Beast was the longest he's seen in years. He also wrote, "waited 90 mins for Adventure Express....WTF?". Hopefully it's not this crazy over the weekend.

I was there, yesterday with a group of 8. It was more crowded than I have seen in awhile, but I did not think it was overly packed. We got there early, and got to ride many attractions with very little wait time. About 1230, it all of sudden seemed pretty crowded. We left at 6. Wait times after 1230

White Water canyon - 20 minutes

Beast - 30 minutues

D'back - 40 minutes

Delirium - 35 minutes

Drop Tower - 35 minutes

Racer - 10 minutes

Congo Falls - 10 minutes

Wild Thornbury's - 20 minutes.

Adventure Express - 20 minutes.

So while everything had a wait, none of waits were too onerous. Actually, we had a great time.

AE wouldn't have that problem if they were running 3 trains.

I might be going this Friday, I'm hoping it wont be too busy. Is anyone else going?

That is insane waiting 90 mins for Adventure Express.

IMO I think that Mondays and Fridays are very iffy to go because some people like to take long weekends.
