Planning a weekend visit..

Featured Replies

Hi all! We are going to KI this weekend. We plan to visit 5-12 on Saturday and all day Sunday. Just wanted to get some opinions on what we should hit up that first night and what would be best to wait on for Sunday? We want to get in as much as we can, any advice?

You defiantly have to hit these on Saturday...

Diamondback(full queue is about 45 minutes, very fast line)

The Beast(at best will be an hour wait)

Vortex(about an hour tops)

Racer(usually no wait)

Drop Tower(about a 30 minute wait)

Try to squeeze all those in.. and if you have more time, try and re-ride your favorites.

On Sunday, the lines will more and likely be shorter. So try and get everything else you haven't ridden yet. And if you have time, go back and ride your favorites. Try and get a Diamondback and Beast night ride if you can. And most of all, Have fun and be safe!

Definitely don't ride Flight of Fear or Firehawk on Saturday. The wait will probably be about an hour and a half. If you get there when the park opens on Sunday, go straight to Firehawk. When you get off of that, go to Flight of Fear.

I would ride Diamondback, The Beast, maybe Vortex, Racer, Adventure Express, and Flight Deck on Saturday. You should easily ride all of those. If you still have time (you should, go ride Delirium and/or Invertigo. After that, head back to The Beast and Diamondback and get a night ride on both of those! I think you should have time for those (plus time for dinner and you could eat a snack while in line).

On Sunday, go straight to Firehawk. When you get off of that, go to Flight of Fear. Then I'd ride Delirium and/or Invertigo (if you didn't the day before). Don't forget Backlot Stunt Coaster. After you've ridden all of those (or in between riding those) ride some of the flats (you could fit a couple in on Saturday, too :) ). Ride Viking Fury, Monster, Scramble, [shake, Rattle, and Roll], Dodgem, Drop Tower, and Zephyer. If you'd like, try the Crypt.

Hope you have a lot of fun :) :)!

Do you have a gold pass? If you do go for ERT on Saturday at 9 you could get a couple rides on Diamondback and The Beast. Don't forget that you can get free ice water through out the day instead of buying a four dollar soda. Also get a night ride on The Beast one night and Diamondback on the other night It's amazing.
