I am going to KI on a September weekend, will it be packed?

Depends on the weather for one which can be, and is, completely unpredictable. Two, no one know if the park will be crowded or not, a rainy weekday in July can be just as crowded as a nice, sunny Saturday in June. If I had to guess though, it will be like any other weekend, a bit on the heavy side.

Sept. Is typically pretty slow.

Be sure to check the park calendar. Most September Saturdays the public will not confront any crowds at Kings Island, as it is CLOSED to the public. If you are going on one of those days as part of a group, the park may very well be packed.

This year, the ONLY Saturday in September that the park is open to the public is the one of Labor Day Weekend. The park is usually very busy that Saturday.

I think a lot of September weekends are mostly just filled with local people and pass holders..Everyone is done with summer in September, kids back in school, etc..

Woah, when did the 26th become a closed day, it was originally going to be a Haunt only night (open 7-1.)

Probably when Kings Island decided to re-do the calendar page:. Actually, I don't know, but I do know that I don't like the new calendar. After Terpy posted that, I was shocked to hear they decided to not have KI open on that Saturday after it WAS listed to be open.

I will be going to the park on one of the "GE days". Is the park usually crowded on those days? My friend is coming in from out of town and has never been to the park. What kind of lines can we expect? Just curious if anyone has any experience at past events with the GE day or not.
