July 7, 200323 yr The reason some people thought a person died at PKI at that time was because Drop Zone at KI is similar to the one at PGA (Someone died on it) and had to be tested for flaws, so the ride at PKI was shut down for a while. Thus giving some people the impression that someone had died on it. Actually, while they are both "Free Fall" rides, both named "Drop Zone" they aren't alike at all. It was closed in case people linked the two names together and thought they were the same thing. The brakes slowed the car, but not enough, causing the two trains to "bump" into each other. You could hardly call it a collision. But, knowing PKI and their safety precautions, they added brakes on the course to slow it down There were always brakes out on the course. They were just changed to a more RELIABLE type of brake after the "accident". Edited January 1, 197056 yr by beastfreak
July 7, 200323 yr I was on it (the train in the station) that got bumped into. I got a hearty laugh out of it along with the people on my train. It was really nothing. But I'm not sure about the people in the back train. I think some got hurt. But not bad, mabey a bruse. The people who din't like it were the people in the front seats of the train, and the employees. I also think it was raining... Ouch, rain hurts. Edited January 1, 197056 yr by Dane
