CoasterXtreme
I had a bad experience at FOF on Tuesday, I was standing in line for the best seat on FOF (which is in the back) and these two people in front of me couldn't have been more than 12 years old. Were all over each other and when I say all over each other I mean heavy petting. I let this go on for about 5 mins and I couldn't take it anymore, So I told them to get a room and no one wants to see that Crap(used the other word for crap). I mean everyone was looking at them with there mouths hitting the floor. Does anyone else have a problem with this? I mean a peck or holding each other I really don't mind, but I feel what they were doing was way out of line. Maybe I am just getting old. slingshooter0607
When my girlfriend and I go to the park..I make sure that we dont do that.. 1.It makes us both look bad 2.There are younger children there 3.An amusment park isnt the place for that..Wait untill were alone... I know when people do that..I understand that they are jus showing affection but c'mon..Save it for the Holiday Inn Rosco.I mean..Its bad when Im 14 and think that people go to far.. Holding Hands...Kissing (Not like eating each others faces/..But kissing)and stuff like that Im ok w/ ..But it gets to wear some of thier cloths are commin up and down and un-buttoned..And sometimes its pretty nasty. And its NOT funny to leave a condom wrapper in a garden..Thats just NASTY..(Noticed this walking back to WWC..)People go WAY TO FAR in public now-a-days. Rollercoast18
I have always thought that PKI should install a love canal kind of ride to deter people from making out in the lines.
RiSK
Personally, i tell them to their face to stop, i dont need to see that s***. Although, i dont do anything further than telling them to stop, because frankly, if they wont stop there, its obvious they wont stop, period. So i reccomend just saying something, and if they dont stop.. just know that you > them.
SML828
When I worked there and caught people doing that, I'd just say "This is a family park, not a park for making families" I know I'm not the only one that has used that...
mike77
I have also noticed this. I think King's Island should imply and strictly enforce rules for PDA.
Dane
If I go with one of my friends, we usually say stuff to make them feel embassased. We talk loud so everyone gets a good laugh out of it. It works everytime.

CantStopCabron
I remember once on WWC me and my friends were in a boat with this teenage couple that were getting pretty close to taking each other's clothes off. When I told them to stop, the guy looked at me and just said "what?". About 15 seconds later they started doing it again, and when we hit one of the waves they bumped their heads together. My friends and I just cracked up the entire ride at them. I felt they got their dues. Edited January 1, 1970 by CantStopCabron
CoasterXtreme
[i have always thought that PKI should install a love canal kind of ride to deter people from making out in the lines. I always have thought Scooby and all the other dark rides that have been located in the building would be the place to do it.
slingshooter0607
Tried it on PT..But when we went to get off I seen the cameras and felt bad...An amusment park just isnt the place for that ya know.I know one time in line for DZ( who ever said saying somethin that made them embarassed reminded me of this)but this couple were everything close to just having sex right there in line and everytime the line would move..they would hold it up..So we got across of them and my group and the group in front of us made friends .So the lady in the group in front of us went under the bar and got in front of them..So we all did the same and they didnt even notice it..B4 they knew it the were at the back of the line. But I said it before..An amusment park just is'nt the place for it and its bad when Im 14 and think that people go a little to far in public. CoasterXtreme
Yes I agree a Theme Park is not the place to do it, But aleast if you are going toyou should be incline to do it so it where people can not see you like a dark ride. I as was reading one of the post in this site where a 13 year old was making out behind tomb raider and was bragging about it online. First off he should have not been back behind Tomb Raider in the first place, That is off limits to the public. I just find that wrong! HAHA, yes I still use that line all the time. I love watching people's reactions to that.

DragonLord
I have also noticed this. I think King's Island should imply and strictly enforce rules for PDA. PKI does have PDA rules although I'm actually not sure where you can read them at. I know that security will enforce the rules... especially when guests start to complain... but when we are walking around the park and see heavy petting or what have you, we will tell them to stop. Most officers have pretty strict morals anyway and none of us want to see it in the park, so we do our best. We can't be everywhere, though, so we can't catch everything... it's just not possible. That's why we always appriciate it when other employees ask them to stop, or when guests ask other guests not to do it.
DanielRadsgrl
I'm scared to ask other people not to do stuff. Like one time I told someone not to line-jump and they like cussed me out so I don't like tring that anymore. matt3224
I worked on PT last year and I sadly noticed WAY too much. There was many times we had to call security because it got too far, and I mean...WAY TOO FAR! Also, the embarrassing the people idea works. And if you are working and you see it, say "Ladies and Gentlemen... Paramount's Kings Island is a family park and we ask that you please behave appropriatly!" Keep repeating until they get the message. That seems to work most of the time.
teenageninja
I understand a couple kisses are ok, as I am guilty of. But more than like a mintue straight it gets annoying. I think that they should enforce PDA rules. The new cameras in Scooby are a good way of getting rid of people makingout, I think they should put cameras in the car. skatefanjeff
I'm only 15 and I think it is rude when people do that stuff. Some times it goes to far. Kissing, holding, and hugging are not bad at all, but making out is ok if it is not like 5 minutes long. Groping and dry humping is going to far. When me and my girlfriend do stuff we are always alone. One time was kind of funny though, in the station of Son of Beast this couple was kissing then the girl tryed to slip the tongue and the dude bit her tongue and held it there for like two minutes, they looked like total jackbutts. slingshooter0607
HaHa..Yea..You would think if people are gon be gettin nasty right there in the park..You would think (Or at least hope) that they would be good at it.Haha..But like my mom has always told me and I said in the other post.. Mrs. G.
http://www.enquirer.com/editions/2000/08/1...verexposed.html That one is still my all time favorite. What are people thinking? I must really be old and jaded because I don't even notice that stuff anymore. I went to PKI on my honeymoon and we didn't act like that. A time and a place for everything...some people just don't get it.
RiSK
Kings Island spokesman Jeff Siebert was surprised to learn of the unusual photo shoot and said it may be a first for the park. “We're a family park and try to operate and maintain a family experience,†said Mr. Siebert. Amen to that Jeff, amen to that. anyone know what these people got? Personally, i wouldve cried laughing if i ever looked at a monitor and noticed that on there... pki_guy
Oh golly. BJ's in the photo booth. What a "crafty" couple. Well thats kinda creepy that someone would do that in the park... But these days, people do crazy things.
CoasterXtreme
I hope they through the book at them that is just not right. PKI needs to get tough on this kinda of behavior! Stuff like this make alot of people not want to go to the park!

DragonLord
I'm suprised no one has heard of stuff like that in the photo boths... that's why I always try and check them when I go by. As if trowing the book at them, since we are in Mason, it would be up to the Mason court to do that and the prosecution. Odds are it was something like a fine and probation. I highly doubt jail time. I'm sure someone can look it up, it is public informaiton unless it was sealed for some odd reason.
Crispy1979
I have no idea what PKI's PDA policy is, but I worked at Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom as a summer job for many years. I'd imagine it was similar to many other parks policy of PDA. It was basically as follows. 1. No open mouth kissing. 2. Hugging, hand-holding, and closed mouth kissing (quick peck on the cheeck or lips) is okay among guests. 3. A brief friendly hug is permitted between castmembers. All other forms of affections between castmemebrs is prohibited. 4. Overtly sexual behavior is prohibited. (This would include those teenage couples that think its okay to dry hump each other in line or give each other hickies while they wait. As cast members we were also warned to stick to these rules and not envoke personal prejudice. (I.E. As cast members, it is our job to alert guests to park policy, not to tell guests to stop engaging in activities that did not violate park policy) I realived the importance of this principle when I was working Tin Lizzies (antique cars) one day. A woman riding with her daughter complained to me that she had seen two women hug and asked me to go say something her them. I asked the woman if they had kissed or just hugged. She confirmed that she had just hugged. I told her that if they had just hugged that they had not violated park policy and that as a cast member I cannot say anything to them unless they violate park policy. She got very upset and was like "Well, you could at least say something to them." I tried to explain to her that as a cast member we are only allowed to inform guests they are violating park policy. If they are not violating park policy, then we are not allowed to reprimand guest for allowable behavior. She asked to see my manager, and I let her talk to him and he told her the same thing. Byt his time she was making a scene and all the other guests in line were looking at her like "What is her problem." We gave her our names and told her she could go to guest relations and make a complaint. She told me that my "a** was grass" and that she was going to get both me and my manager fired. About 10 minutes later the phone at our ride rings and I pick it up and it is guest services and they are like "Why did you send that woman up here. Didn't you tell her it's okay for people to hug in the park?" There was another day I remember clearly. Kentucky Kingdom has a Huss swinging pirate ship and when i worked there it was rarely open because it was in an isolated corner of the park where no one visited since the Vampire was removed and also because at the time it require two ride operaters and the park was too cheap to pay two people to work a minor ride. Well, one day we got a report from some guests on the wild mouse coaster that they could see two people in the pirate ship. We sent security over and there were two teenagers having sex in one of the seats of the pirate ship! Cris
