It is very sad and i hope everyone is ok but why would the ride op decide it is ok to run another train earlyeir then it is supposed to go so this kind of thing wont happen.

WHAT?

From the article:

...A spokesman for Blackpool Pleasure Beach said: "Investigations are under way to establish the cause of an incident which occurred on the Big Dipper at approximately 7.50pm....

A call needs to be placed to Great Britain to tell the park and its surety that no investigation is necessary, as an Internet poster in America, who has only read a press account, has determined the cause of the incident. How ridiculous is that? Please do not rush to conclusions. There is a reason accidents are investigated. You do NOT know what caused this.

Note also they said two cars hit each other. May have been two trains or it could have been two cars of the same train. How do you know? You don't.

Again, do NOT rush to conclusions. Especially to blame people who may be utterly blameless. It is not fair, it is wrong and others depend on this site for accurate information, not ridiculous speculation based on nothing.

Two carriages collided on the Big Dipper when one of them became jammed on the rails on Tuesday evening.

Twenty-one people went to hospital with facial, back and neck injuries.

Director David Cam said the Lancashire amusement park's engineers were "absolutely confident" it had been right to reopen the ride. ...
