One time, while in line for Racer, I overheard a guy trading stocks on his cell phone while in line with his kids. I thought, "God, you can't go one freakin' day without work to enjoy the day with your kids - you HAVE to do THAT!" Anyway, we don't smoke on rides - or throw up, or drink, or fart, or throw objects - you even have to have your glasses secured on some rides or you take them off and put them in a locker - all so that others don't get hurt. And yes, there is a no smoking LAW in Ohio so live with it!

why cant you smoke on rides?

someone tried to smoke on Diamondback once. I'm not even joking.

Okay. That reminds me oif something I found out last night. A family friend who works at the school told me this, and his younger brother knew the girl. So, last year, some girl was in her history class. During the middle of the class, she whipped out a joint and lit it, and was smoking it. Then, she offered the teacher some! Did I mention this was DURING CLASS?!?!!!!!! Well, she didn't get to spend the rest of the year in the good ol' place called Sycamore High School, and she had to go to rehab before returning this year.

Some people just make no sense!

Because if someone was smoking on a roller coaster, and their lit cigarette flew back, hit and burned me, I'd get thrown out of the park for whooping their ***.

:D

and then Terpy or I would have to represent you in Court and arrange to bail you out of jail!

Why bail them out? Bubba is lonely!

The first few years were rocky but I've notced the people smoking out of the designated areas has been reduced greatly in the past year or so. I've seen associates inform guests of smoking areas more times than I can count this season.

At the beginning of the season, there was quite a bit of line jumping, free-range smokers, and free-range smoking line jumpers. All three have been GREATLY reduced throughout the season. :)
