September 21, 200916 yr You guys haven't even seen the half of that lazy river... inner-tubes float through peaceful canals, down those raging currents, into tunnels, across pools... and up lift-hills to go down water slides You can enjoy almost everything the water-park has to offer without ever leaving your inner-tube.
October 27, 200916 yr Only one change... Short of changing ownership of the park I would say that the theme/landscaping needs to be restored to there glory days. I know Cedar Fair has never really placed a high priority on the appearance and theming of an area. When KI first opened (no I was not alive however have had the pleasure of looking through a bunch of old albums) everything was well themed, manicured and period correct. Over the years this has given way to standardized uniforms ect. that severely detract from the experience. And the grounds care has been severely lacking ever since the late 1990's. If it does not feel comfortable I could care less how many rides you have. Just my 2 cents.
October 27, 200916 yr Cedar Fair doesn't do a great job on theming usually (though they did pretty decent on an area for Diamondback). I have low expecations on the retheme of Nick U. Paramount did a good job near the end on the theming (early on they stunk too). As far as what one thing to change: i have to agree with all of the sight/visual and sound themes. The park is cleaner by and large but the intricate landscaping has gone bye-bye.
October 28, 200916 yr Cedar Fair doesn't do a great job on theming usually (though they did pretty decent on an area for Diamondback). I have low expecations on the retheme of Nick U. Paramount did a good job near the end on the theming (early on they stunk too). While I do agree that CF lacks on overall theming (but, they are also not in the theme park business), the theming for Planet Snoopy & Camp Snoopy at CP is quite fantastic. I would expect at least the same results for KI.
October 28, 200916 yr I would bring a HUSS Enterprise back. I think they're really fun, and KI doesn't have one anymore... Well if SFKK starts suffering the same fate as Geauga Lake (seeing as how they're replacing a B&M standup with a water park, I don't think they're too far off), maybe their Enterprise will find its way to KI?
October 28, 200916 yr I'd imagine it'd find it's way to another Six Flags park, but then again, Two Face has been for sale for quite a while.
October 30, 200916 yr I wouldn't change anything about KI, but I would add something small that could fit in the Action Zone. There is another topic kind of like this, talking about how the Action Zone isn't as busy as it used to be. Maybe add an El Loco, because those are very small, and fun.
