Instead of being $1.8 in the red by the end of 2011, the city is now projected to be $600,000 in the red.

The improvement, in part, stemmed from a better August performance by Cedar Point, which provides more than 99 percent of the city's admissions tax revenues.

I assume that $1.8 is supposed to be $1.8 million. End of 2011? Good old Sandusky Register. Sigh.
