Theme or Amusement?

An idea popped into my head the other day... Some people on KIC just love theme parks, while, others, amusement parks take the cake...

For me, my favorite thing has to be the beauty of the park... When I come to a park, I expect to have breathtaking views, maybe have a few scares in the haunted house (*hint KI Management hint*), or maybe a good laugh in a comedic show or dark ride, featuring a large assortment of creative and ridiculous characters. (Not to forget a few thrills on some large coasters, particularly well themed ones...)

I love theme parks the most, and I'm wondering what all of you think.

There's a time for cookies, there's a time for cake. I love either kind of park and even some places that are kind of a mix of both...

That all being said, for me the real difference in theme parks is between seasonal parks and year round ones. Seasonal parks just can't afford the type of investment, maintenance and care that go into the big theme parks in Florida and California.
