italianchef
If you ever saw Iron Chef, you'd be familiar with the format. There are 4 Iron Chefs: Iron Chef Japanese, Iron Chef Chinese, Iron Chef French, and Iron Chef Italian. Each week a celebrity chef would challenge one of the 4 Iron Chefs. The Chairman would reveal a secret theme ingredient and the 2 chefs would battle. Four celebrities would judge the dishes and choose a winner. What if PKI did the same thing but called the show "PKI CHEF"? How about PKI Chef Chinese for Mandarin Cuisine, PKI Chef Italian for LaRosa's, PKI Chef American for Wings Diner, and PKI Cajun for Bubba Gump Shrimp Shack? The contest could be held at The International Street Theater. Three or four park guests can be selected as the judges. Another park guest, with minimal credentials, could be the challenging chef. And a PKI actor can play the chairman who reveals the "secret theme ingredient". I think it'd be cool. It'd allow the guests to take part in an interactive show with PKI employees - and get free food. Just a thought. What do y'all think? Chris Pki Fan
Your idea is just a little weird . It would be cool to watch though. Its your dream though. I would watch it I Like Iron chef. It would be a diffrent experence.
italianchef
It'd be different from Iron Chef because we would've have celebrities and state of the art kitchens. We'd have ordinary professional and amateur cooks and limited cooking equipment for two people, and it'd be a lot less fancy than Iron Chef. Perhpaps 2 instead of 5 dishes and 25 minutes instead of 1 hour. But it'd be a live show - and a real competition. I think that it would be exciting. Chris Pki Fan
That sounds Great to shorten the time to 25 minutes becouse people wouldn't want to sit through an hour long show. Something elese to Add would be to make pre made little cheap snack that has somthing to do with the theme. Not anything major just a small little snack to get a taste of the theme. Captain Picard
I would like to see Emeril's Big Bam Blast in the TimberWolf Amphitheater. Emeril's Big Bam Blast is a cooking concert.
Dane
I don't think this Idea would work at all in American Audiences. Mabey in Europe.

italianchef
I don't think this Idea would work at all in American Audiences. Mabey in Europe. Sorry, I have to disagree. Didn't you see Iron Chef USA? It was hosted by William Shatner from Star Trek. And the Japanese Iron Chef has been a smash, hit sensation in the USA. So much so, that two episodes were filmed here in the USA. The Japanese crew flew to the states to compete against American chef. Thanks to the Food Network, Iron Chef is still very popular in the USA. A PKI CHEF show, bsaed on Iron Chef, would probably bring people to PKI who otherwise wouldn't go to witness the contests and taste the culinary creations. And with David Zellner now in charge of PKI's food service, I reckon PKI CHEF would be a great show. I myself would want to be a challenger. However, I agree that Europeans would probably appreciate it more as they seem more sophisticated than us. BoddaH1994
I agree with you Chef. I just think that there should be at least one adult oriented show. If a family of four goes, and the kids love it, but the parents are bored out of their minds, they probably won't return as often.
Mrs. G.
We love Iron Chef! That's a creative and interesting idea. Sounds like fun. I love to watch it, would never eat it.

It was hosted by William Shatner from Star Trek. Yes I did. And European people would like it more because they like to spend more tike with their food. Americans like fast food. In Europe, there are alot more sit down restraunts, but there are still fast food there as well.
Tanner
PKI's a Theme Park, not a TV Network...
italianchef
PKI's a Theme Park, not a TV Network... Yes PKI is a theme park. But it does have shows this season with the names "CMT" and "VH1" in them. Additionally, in 2001 PKI put on a show based on "Survivor" the series with its namesake. Hence, it is not impossible to imagine PKI putting on a show based on Iron Chef the series.
BoddaH1994
I agree with you. As odd as it may sound, there's definitely a grey area between theme parks and TV based entertainment.
DragonLord
Is there "definitely a grey area between theme parks and TV based entertainment. "? I mean, look at the Brady Bunch and Partridge Family... and the MTV show Newlyweds that is coming out this month with Jessica Simpson, and all the coaster shows that are filimed, and the live BET awards shows and stuff... The park would do better, IMO, if they could find a good show to film live at the park... maybe not all the time, but something like a Nick family game show would be cool... maybe another episode of something can be filmed at the park? It would just be neat and would draw more guests to the park.
Losing Streak
They could have a CBS show that comes to PKI, i.e. King of Queens, or somemthing like that. Since we're all one big happy family.
italianchef
I agree, PKI would benefit if a TV show were filmed at it on a regular basis. Perhpas a game show - or a sitcom. HEY - I have an idea. Beside a PKI Chef show......why not a sitcom like Threes Company filmed at PKI. It can be about 3 roommates who all work at PKI and share an apartment. I think that'd be cool. And I think those roommates should be played by me, Anna Nicole Smith (a lady who is truly my type), and Margaret Cho (who is also my type). That would make for an awesome PKI-based show. DegenRider
Anna Nicole Smith makes me wanna spew. I think another Waynes world movie would be even better. Have em show up there for a concert or somthing and let the fun happen.

I like woman shaped like Anna Nicole Smith and wish PKI would put some of them in their live shows instead of all those underweight young ladies. Tanner
Perhaps he meant woman like her, as in personality not her shape. She is one of the stupidest people in the world. Once I watched her show, she was talking to her son about what he had for dinner, he said something like pizza, and she goes "What! you had fish guts?" italianchef
Perhaps he meant woman like her, as in personality not her shape. She is one of the stupidest people in the world. Once I watched her show, she was talking to her son about what he had for dinner, he said something like pizza, and she goes "What! you had fish guts?" You got it wrong. I like Anna Nicole Smith's shape because I like full-figured ladies. As far as her personality is concerned - she has the IQ of a grapefruit. Please don't mistake my fondness of full-figured ladies with intellectually challenged women. I wish that PKI had full-figured, not intellectually challenged, women in their shows. Sincerely, Italian Chef
BoddaH1994
Awww Chef, why did you have to mention 3's Company and put visions of John Ridder in my head??
italianchef
Sorry BoddaH. Try to focus on the having 2 female roommates aspect and forget about the dorkish actor.
