Paramount Movie Park Photos

Featured Replies

As enjoyable sifting through everyone under the sun trying to create "Bills Amusement Park - A Cedar Fair Entertainment Co. property" has been the past few weeks...

I just came across this link over at screamscape to some close up images of the Paramount Movie Park in Korea. Some things look familiar, some make me thing what could have been...

Just a little fuel for discussion...

I think obviously being able to start from the ground up and create these highly immersive experiences and rides will be much more an easier task than try to convert an existing property that is an amusement park and 'force' pieces of Paramount library throughout the park. In any event... its worth taking a gander at and perhaps discussing...

As always I'll provide the the screamscape link, as to not make you think i scour hundreds and hundreds of websites a day just waiting for updates pertaining to amusement parks when in reality - its from my weekly visit to screamscape.

(have i mentioned how i think screamscape is extremely reliable)

I think I like these photos the best:

Anyone recognize these? Shaggy posted something similar for the one on the left. Soundwave, the future theme for Flight of Fear. Then there's Backlot, and that looks like a Tomb Raider water ride.

Recognize this? School of Rock concert previously at Kings Island, what looks to be a show on Titanic, and no clue what that is on the right.

Looks like they've got something real in the works here, I can only hope that they learned something from their last escapade into amusement parks.

It's nothing less than disappointing / expected to see that what I had hoped was going to be the return of Tomb Raider: The Ride appears to be a log flume. I'm confident it will be incredible, and from the concept art it appears your watery dive is narrowly escaping an explosion... But perhaps Tomb Raider will see a return in that other Paramount Park they're scouting for. Still, awesome pictures! Pretty funny to try to guess if Italian Job will be expanded or if the Soundwave coaster will be the same Premier coaster...

In a way, the opening of this park will likely make Kings Island appear like a cheap knock-off, since it will have many of the same rides we have, but ours will appear like the generic follow-ups. Hahah. For example, they have a brand new, [likey] extended and highly-special-effects oriented ride with Mini Coopers, we have the same thing, but with broken effects, a shorter ride, no music, etc.

I think they learned that you can turn around and sell your theme park holdings for a higher price than most analysts think they're worth, and put your former competitor into major debt for the foreseeable future ;)

Well, more accurately, they learned that if you foist off your theme parks on CBS with other low growth properties, CBS may sell them for a King's ransom to some fair company, who will be for at least some time in the debt of its creditors, if not worse...
