my mom has a picture of me playing out in the snow when i was maybe three, but what does that have to do with Kings Island's reaction to snow?

and i think i've read storys of terpy's that involve snow and riding The Beast.

the whole in snow during a time where ki should be open ...

oh, i'm sorry, i thought you ment you had a random picture of you standing in snow up to your waist and it made you think of it. but anyway they would most likely treat it like rain, if it was measurable, but if it was just spitting snow, i could see them just going on like nothing was happening.

In days of old, Winterfest went on in snow, gloom of night, etc. But, the last Winterfest, under CBS...it snowed, the park closed...In CBS's defense, I doubt 100 people would have showed up that night, and many of the workers also could not have gotten there.

I doubt Kings Island would operate these days with substantial snow on the ground. Why operate when the public won't be there to pay the freight of operating?

As far as the rides themselves go, could a ride like Beast or Diamondback theoretically run all winter? I am assuming that there would almost certainly be increased maitainence costs but would it be possible without damaging the ride?

No, every ride in the park has a minimum temperature that it can run in, if you go to the park late in the season many of the rides are often closed in the mornings. It's because it's not warm enough to run them.
