kossman Posted August 21, 2003 Posted August 21, 2003 To people that have been to both of these parks I am curious to know what you believe the pros and cons are when comparing these 2 parks against each other. Obviously a pro to Cedar Point is its overall array or roller coasters however my opinion is that a King's Island Pro is better wooden rollercoasters. I think this would be a great topic to compare the 2 parks in many areas ( rides, games, food, accessability, employees, history, etc, etc) Here are a couple to start the discussion: Wooden Coasters- King's Island (Beast, SOB, Racer, Beastie) vs Cedar Point (Mean Streak, Blue Streak (Gemini does not count because it is truly a steel coaster IMO) PRO- King's Island Dark Rides- King's Island (Scooby Doo) vs Cedar Point (none!) PRO- King's Island have fun

7D Rules Posted August 21, 2003 Posted August 21, 2003 I think PKI owns them in the wood category while CP is tops in steel. CP has the better staff. PKI has better food. PKI has the better kids area and water park. CP has great resorts. I wish PKI had a hotel on premises like CP. It was very convenient to be able to walk back to my hotel room at the back of the park.
