Diamondback FOF Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 I know there is a topic for this, but I really couldn't find it. I just have a quick question over a gold pass perk. when do ERT begin? http://www.visitkingsisland.com/news/detail.cfm?item_id=1048 For starters, there’s early rides EVERY DAY on Diamondback – the tallest, fastest and meanest roller coaster to ever strike Kings Island – and The Beast – still the longest wooden roller coaster in the world at 7,400 feet. Early rides on these two signature attractions begin at 9:30am Sunday through Fridays, and at 9:00am on Saturdays – ALL SEASON LONG beginning April 17 http://visitkingsisland.com/events/events.cfm?ec_id=27 Every day this year, starting April 30th, the park opens early for Gold Passholders to enjoy some of their favorite rides and attractions! Sunday thru Friday - 1/2 hr early entrance for Diamondback and Beast Monday - 1/2 hr early rides in Planet Snoopy Wednesday - 1/2 hr early rides in Boomerang Bay Saturday - 1 hr early entrance for Diamondback and Beast Can somebody ask this for 5@5? CoastersRZ Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 I also was questioning the start date when I saw the April 17th date announced in their email they sent out today. Which is different than the previously mentioned April 30th date. Quote
The Interpreter Posted March 30, 2010 Posted March 30, 2010 And according to today's 5@5, the ERTs start on opening day! The park hath listened! http://www.KICentral.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=20850&view=findpost&p=369764 Quote
Plankton Posted March 31, 2010 Posted March 31, 2010 I cannot complain about this one; an extra 1.5 hours of ride time during my trip! Quote
The Interpreter Posted March 31, 2010 Posted March 31, 2010 No, one hour or one half hour. Uh, yes. He's planning on going the second weekend: http://www.KICentral...ndpost&p=365884 One hour (Saturday) plus one half hour (Sunday) = 1.5 hours, or at least it did when I went to school! Terpy, very good at Classic Concentration....and other rebi.... Quote
Diamondback FOF Posted March 31, 2010 Author Posted March 31, 2010 I found my original post with all of the gold/platinum pass perks: click here Also, thanks for asking this Jackson! Quote
74Gibson Posted March 31, 2010 Posted March 31, 2010 I love this site! I hadn't been on since the announcement. Happened to check the perks after looking at the Boo Hill page on the KI site. Saw the change. A quick search on KIC found this thread. I got my question answered pretty almost instantly. Thanks! Woot for ERT on my first trip of the year!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Quote
Mr. Coastermania Posted March 31, 2010 Posted March 31, 2010 Sounds good.I was just going to ask the same question.heck you all are to fast but again this is going to make my first trip of the year awesome. Thank you again Kings Island. Quote

Terpy, very good at Classic Concentration....and other rebi.... Correct! I meant 1.5 extra hours during my trip; my trip = Sat. the 24th and Sun. the 25th. P.S. There was one part that was incorrect--the "he." I'm actually a she, but my profile stated otherwise for a few weeks, maybe months, after sign up! Quote
The Interpreter Posted April 1, 2010 Posted April 1, 2010 And now Terp has something else to remember! Quote
gigacoaster2k Posted April 1, 2010 Posted April 1, 2010 There was one part that was incorrect--the "he." I'm actually a she, but my profile stated otherwise for a few weeks, maybe months, after sign up! ! I got that at first too.. a few people on here accidentally referred to me as a he until they saw me at KI, and there was no question afterward.. I am indeed a she! hahaha Quote
Jasper Posted April 1, 2010 Posted April 1, 2010 I was also questioning this certain topic until I got on their website to get my friend's season pass and saw in big bold red letters, ERT begins April 17th Quote
