CoasterFreak45
Yesterday, I was riding in the back row of Diamondback, and like everytime I reached back during the splashdown to get my hand wet. I got off the ride, and noticed my arm was burning. Where I had touched the water my arm had red lines that were raised and I had red dots on my hand and arm. I noticed the morning that the lines were actually scracthes that had scabbed. I assume it was something to do with the chemicals, and brushed it off. I was just wondering if that happened to anyone else?
chaddie
This has never happened to me and i ride in the back row all the time. I will say that yesterday I pulled my arms in since it was cold. I did not want to get them wet.
CoastersRZ
Keep in mind it could have something to do with the force at which the water is hitting your arm!

KI FANATIC 37
Keep in mind it could have something to do with the force at which the water is hitting your arm! TylerRider
Are you sure it wasen't a snake bite?
KI Kevin
Funny story, last year, about 3 weeks into the season (the water was still clean), I was sitting back seat. I decided that I wanted to see what the splashdown looked like from there, so I looked down on the scoop thing (the thing that diverts the water up). Next thing I know, my face is completely soaked! But no, I've never experienced scratches/ chemical pains from the water.
CrashOverRided
Keep in mind it could have something to do with the force at which the water is hitting your arm! Carefull, they will close DB to drain the pool due to the fact the water may cause injury!
CoasterFreak45
I was kinda worried about saying something, because I know they read these forums. but I was just wondering. It's kinda weird how these things happen.
CoastersRZ
Well, technically you should not be reaching your hands out thatfar on the ride, let alone turning your head back to look at the scoops.
chaddie
Maybe there was Diamondback venom in the water
