Browntggrr
This wooden coaster is the world's longest in both time and length, thrilling riders for more than four minutes on a track that stretches 7,400 feet, Ruben says. It includes a 540-degree helix that twists through a partially covered tunnel. "You can hear the screams echoing through the forest." http://www.usatoday.com/travel/destinations/10great/2010-07-22-roller-coasters_N.htm
The Interpreter
Paul Ruben. I must be quiet. I must be quiet. Mission accomplished. Whew!
SOB_TOM
Wasn't Paul Ruben one of Ocean's 11? You know, the one who bankrolled the idea?
The Interpreter
Not that Paul Ruben...this Paul Ruben says every coaster he ever appears at a media day for is the best coaster in the history of Earth (in exchange for a monetary consideration). So much for me being quiet...
Browntggrr
^^ That would be Reuben Tishkoff played by Elliott Gould.
Guest Millennium
Wow, Intimidator is getting rave reviews. Hopefully I can make it east by next year to ride it and Afterburn.
The Interpreter
Okay, I can't take it anymore. I'd no more trust a coaster review by Paul Ruben than I would a Wikipedia article. Less so, actually. The man has never met a coaster he didn't rave about. Ever.
Dvo
I agree. This guy is just terrible. And he's EVERYWHERE in amusement media. Simply awful. I'm kind of glad to see Viper at SFGAm get some notoriety, as I feel it is pretty underrated, but I am not glad that it came in this form. Browntggrr
For a guy that is so "into" the industry, it was a real pee wee article...
The Interpreter
Now stop that, Herman!
