I'm in the Festhaus getting ready for Down Home Country and seems fairly crowded for 3:30. I guess people must eat on their way here and do a late lunch or something. Several children at sitting on the stage and I'm waiting for crew to chase them off (since the parents don't have enough sense to do it!)

Line for Delirium was full and Viking Fury is closed. More as it happens...

BTW is there a way to post pics easily from a mobile device?

These poor performers... It's so hot in here and yet they don't miss a step and are always enthusiastic. Good for them.

I'm gonna stay here and watch Way Too Much TV before braving the weather and the crowds...

As I posted in another thread, the park is dry as a bone and the temperature is 90...with a heat index of 97.

Oh I'm sorry I didn't see. I just wondered because we had a down poor in WVA.

Park doesn't seem crowded at all... Especially when viewed from the tower. While I was up two hilljacks - a man and a woman, both who were old enough to know better - spit hockers to see how far they would go. I told the op but they dsappeared and I didn't really want to be in an altercation especially that high up in the air.

There's a nice breeze this evening and if your in a shady spot it's almost pleasant.

More later...

Wow people are behaving badly today. Some kid got on the stage at the Festhaus and pulled up a chair. One of the cast happened to be out talking to a friend and shooed them away. I would never dream of acting like that.

Was at the park earlier doing some DB laps. The queues were empty but I only did 4 rides because it was so hot out. Have been relaxing at home in the cool A/C.

Oh man, I can just imagine how nasty those can get :(

Lots of people get a kick out of spitting from Lift Hills as well. That and someone always has to lean out and touch the railing, lol. One kid on AE was very determined to break his wrist or arm reaching for everything he could.

I made it home even though my stupid check engine light keeps coming. The mechanic says its nothing to worry about but we'll see how worried they are when I'm stuck on the side of the road. :-)

I watched Way Too Much TV again before I left and met a nice guy named Steve who I've seen at the show each time I've watched it. He carries a huge camera bag and he told me he often takes pictures of the cast and other shows around the park. He is retired and comes to the park 4-5 times a week. What a great guy and I'm jealous of him. That's how I want to spend my retirement. The cast was very friendly to him, too.

Anyway, I'll probably head back up next Friday as the clock winds down on this season . . . it'll be over before we know it! I'm so glad to have found this forum and to have fallen in love with my local park almost as much as I love Disney World.

Stupid people annoy me to... It makes me sick to think how many people think behaving that way is normal.

I still haven't gotten the chance to watch a show at Kings Island, which is something I think I'm going to have to do before the season ends.

My dad's check engine light has been on for the past 40,000 miles. :P
