Go Browns Posted July 30, 2010 Posted July 30, 2010 I have the opportunity to go to KI with my wife's family on GE day this year and I'm probably going to do it. Has anyone ever been to the park on one of these days? Is it the dream day I imagine with short lines everywhere or surprisingly crowded? Anyone else going that weekend? Quote
LongliveKingsCobra Posted July 30, 2010 Posted July 30, 2010 Well a year or two ago, I worked a priviate event day, it was not to crowded, and the ride lines looke pretty short from where I was. Quote

I havent been to GE day in about 3 years I go the week after when P&G Buys out the park but those are good days to go cuse its closed to Season pass holders and the GP. I went to P&G day last year on Sunday and have for the past 4 years. Park was Nearly Empty. Sunday is better than Sat. Quote
The Interpreter Posted July 30, 2010 Posted July 30, 2010 With many large companies, only the kids for the most part (and sometimes even only part of them) ride. The park can be quite crowded and yet still have relatively short lines. I'd recommend going and enjoy! Quote
KI-ORIG-EMP Posted August 1, 2010 Posted August 1, 2010 As a worker, I prefer the P&G day over the GE day as it does not seem like a regular paying crowd. Quote

To answer your questions in order: 1. Yes 2. Yes, and 3. Yes --Beatle, who has never had the opportunity to do the "triple yes"... LOL But seriously, go and enjoy. The people at private events are not generally enthusiasts, so the lines for the coasters should be relatively short. And the conversation you will hear could fill the "Guests Say the Darndest Things" thread. Quote
