muppetfan1999
A few weeks I ran the Diamondback 5K as part of the Run Kings Island event and I took a few photos with an okay quality camera. I also stayed at Great Wolf Lodge but I didn't take a lot of pictures over there, mainly because I didn't have a lot of time. But I did take a picture of the view from my room. "> And now onto the pictures I took during the run. First, a picture of me in my Run Kings Island Shirt. "> It was a foggy morning so all of the tall rides were almost covered in fog. Rides such as.... Drop Zone, "> The Eiffel Tower, "> Vortex, "> and Diamondback. "> I also saw a few interesting sights around Kings Island that I had never seen before. Like the Diamondback trains sitting next to the station, "> The Crypt with a closed garage like door, "> and Congo Falls halfway up the hill. "> I also took this picture of White Water Canyons estimated wait time sign and got this weird look to it. "> My favorite part was (of course) going backstage. And now, pictures I took from backstage! "> "> I realize people on this board have gone backstage before but this was new for me. "> A line of food and drink stands, something I wasn't really expecting. "> Another odd site, a ceiling fan inside of a popcorn machine. "> "> "> "> "> Halloween Haunt!!! And Now I leave you with what I thing is the dumbest thing ever to buy at Kings Island and one of the oldest scams ever. ">
coasterguy15
I ran the 10k and thought it was a blast. I also ran last year's 10k and it improved drastically from a logistics and excitement stand point. The course was more interesting, as in not 2 miles of parking lot, the organization was awesome, starting line was awesome, I could go on and on. Big thanks to the race manager Don Connolly and KI for making this year's race so great!
standbyme
I realize people on this board have gone backstage before but this was new for me. There's nothing like your first time! It's nice to see the enthusiasm in your report...i'm glad you had a good time. Thanks for sharing the photos...especially the backstage Halloween Haunt stuff...I love the shot of all the caskets stacked up.
