TheCrypt
^A PIECE, not the whole relief. GYK figured it would be shattered, so he wanted a shard of it, a memento. And that relief was over 75 feet tall, I don't think a 1x1 would have made a huge difference (GYK, I would have done the same thing as you!).
beastrider97
It wouldn't surprise me if the Durga is still up in the Crypt building. Maybe it will even be lit up in the future HH maze.
TheCrypt
^One can only hope. Hopefully, the eyes will light up. EDIT: Just remembered, the eyes were painted over during the TR:TR->Crypt tranformation, so the liklihood of eyes is second to none.
bkroz
If the wall is still in place, so is the carving. I believe they're bonded together quite permanently, which is why I expected the building to come down, and thus to be able to get a piece of it. homestar92
^Do you know for certain that they are one, or is this an assumption based on the fact that Cedar Fair did not remove Durga? Hopefully I'm not sounding accusatory, I'm actually just kinda curious.

I believe they're bonded together quite permanently, which is why I expected the building to come down, and thus to be able to get a piece of it. Durga was built in pieces, so its more semi-permanent than anything.
Hank
I went to church on Sunday. There were lots of suits there. I said SOB and they kicked me out! I guess even they don't want to hear it

But to remove it without damaging it would be an ordeal, and when I asked on Twitter, they said that props from the ride might be used for future attractions. I think it's safe to guess it's still in there, but I don't know.
Gordon Bombay
This topic has run its course. A more organized and appropriate topic has been created and the discussion of the ride shall be moved here: General Son of Beast Discussion.
