McSalsa
I would honestly not be too shocked if Holiday World did ditch the Timberliners idea in favor of Rocky Mountain's Topper Track, especially if under new management. If I were Gravity Group, RMC is one of my biggest rivals right now, as they appear capable of building world-class wooden coasters on a scale that competes with Gravity Group's biggest rides head-on (GCII makes great rides, but they can't match the size and scale of Hades & Voyage...yet...and Intamin's Plug N' Plays are a very different breed of wooden coaster), and they have shown the ability to do inversions... Perhaps Gravity Group did Hades 360 simply to defend themselves against RMC...("Hey, Mt. Olympus! You know how you wanted Timberliners and a re-tracking for Hades? Well, how about we throw a inversion in, just for kicks?")
The Interpreter
Ditching would include some sort of settlement and/or legal action. It's quite unbelievable how patient the park has apparently been under previous managements.
McSalsa
I would agree. Kings Island would probably have been fed up by now and given up on the Timberliners, and looked into other solutions to the ride's problems. Granted, they did look for solutions for a SBNO wooden coaster for at least 2-3 years before giving up... (and that timeframe is now coming up on the Timberliners, too...) thedevariouseffect
Resort gate for ERT in the AM, don't go through the front, it's hella packed now. Resort gate doesn't even have running of the bulls now. Just a few hotel people & enthusiasts/random people. I knocked out Maverick four times and millie once during ERT while everyone was in the front of the park for GK
jcgoble3
^ On the contrary, I recommend the marina gate for ERT. Go straight to Millie, then hit Maverick after that. Both are best in the front seat, and Maverick will always have a shorter front seat wait than Millie, due to the fact that Maverick has much shorter trains and thus can put 1 of every 6 riders in the front, compared to Millie's 1 of every 18 riders. Millie's front seat can be an extra 15 to 20 minutes even during ERT. Maverick is usually no more than 5 to 10 extra minutes. If you get to Millie quickly right as the gates open, you can often get into the front seat and only have to wait two or three trains. thedevariouseffect
Front seat on Maverick isnt where it's at though...Back seat everytime  Plus millie...first car second row, same view and experience, usually only one train wait
jcgoble3
Terpy will severely disagree with you on that first point, and I do too. Maverick is an entirely different ride in the front seat and is not worth the time I spend riding it, never mind the wait time, in the back. I ride in the front or I don't ride at all.
thedevariouseffect
I waited five minutes for station wait during ERT got three runs and was done. Millie got first car row two in 20 minutes, Still had 5 min of ERT to go get in line for something afterwards for 1000 opening. Mav front is nice, it's fun and the launch is best experienced in front, but as for airtime and being tossed around the back is the best for that. Millie, I don't justify front...at all, one row back makes no difference to me. Plus front line wait for millie is always ridiculous and for no reason
The Interpreter
I'd agree that the front row of Millennium is not worth the wait. MF, for me, is a back seat ride. Next to last row, smooth, fast and fun. And if my choices for Maverick were no wait for any other row than the front or a two hour wait for front, I'd gladly wait. I'd rather not waste time riding Maverick anywhere else. In the front, it's my favorite steel still, in the back, I'd rather ride it than Ninja or Roller Coaster at New York, New York Casino. It's not painful, just painfully boring. Life is too short, especially at my age, for mediocre rides. Raptor, I ride in the back row, outside seat. I also find Gatekeeper a back row ride. Your experience may vary, and that's fine.
thedevariouseffect
I do like millie in the back, but usually my group likes front so I'm not too choosy. See Maverick in the front is great, but I love getting yanked over that hill and the first camelback, you can't beat that airtime and jolt. Front through, beautiful look at the drop and still get airtime and the launch is great. I'll ride both, but eh, if they had equal wait we wouldn't be complaining. The back though is almost never a wait for me. I do agree with raptor unless I want the full visual but honestly I'm ok with not having it Gatekeeper is TOTALLY a back row ride, no doubting that, especially left side. Right is good but left is more thrilling Man...can't wait for KI/CP trip this weekend...fffuuu
TTD-120-420
I only ride B&M Inverts in the back row on the outside seat. Otherwise, it is just not worth my time.
