The Interpreter Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 And I, for one, say good riddance: ... The franchised restaurant closings included 11 non-traditional units located in Six Flags theme parks in connection with our decision not to renew our sponsorship agreement. The remaining four Six Flags units will close in the first quarter of 2011.... http://www.tradingma...ts-1508739.html Quote
CoastersRZ Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 So was this a Six Flags decision, or was it a Papa John`s decision. Or was the decision mutual? Quote
The Interpreter Posted February 23, 2011 Author Posted February 23, 2011 They make it sound like it was a Papa John's decision. Interestingly, on the night before the SIX conference call, Papa John's took it upon themselves to publicly announce adding Mark Shapiro to their board. To say that Papa and Mark were close would be to be very accurate. Quote
Dieseltech20 Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 Maybe Papa took the KK closing very personal, lol. Quote
PhantomTheater Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 Now only if Maple Grove could kick out their mess of ingredients that are sold as pizza. Quote
The Interpreter Posted February 23, 2011 Author Posted February 23, 2011 Amen! And if only Great Adventure could get back the pizza they had before Captain Blah took over (even if it is from Louisville). Then again, I suppose I should hope for more at Melinda Ashcraft's place! Quote
The Interpreter Posted April 11, 2011 Author Posted April 11, 2011 Famous Famiglia...yes, even at SFOG: http://www.pizzamarketplace.com/article/179724/Famous-Famiglia-tapped-as-Six-Flags-pizza-partner Quote
