stephenmayes
Hello everyone. Like some of you I play the RCT game with the loopy landscapes upgrade. I have never gotten around to getting Delux or RCT 2, but I still enjoy playing this game alot. Today I went to reinstall RCT on my new computer and the program itself works just fine. But I then went to download the trainer that I used to use with my old computer (DRAGON ...) and it will not work on my computer since I have Windows XP. Do any of you all know a place that I can go to download a trainer that will work with loopylandscapes that will also be compatible with Windows XP>? Any Help Would be appreciated STeve
fryler87
I can't help you, but I do know that running RCT1 with any expansion pack won't work with Windows XP, I have XP on my computer, and it doesn't work at all. RCT2 does work for XP, though. I tried to find a fix for the problem with RCT1 and XP, but couldn't find anything myself.
stephenmayes
Flyer: I found the patch to make the program work, you have to go to Atari support to get it. It is just the problem of finding the right trainer to work.. Thank You tho Steve Anyone else?

stephenmayes
Ya I was aware of that, but I dont like the games arent nearly as fun until there is an expansion pack for them. Trainers also make them more fun!! Nothing like a good ole' cheet! Steve
StXBomber
I have to disagree. I have RCT2 with no expansions and no trainers. I heard the expansions were horrible, so I just kept my money. The scenario builder in RCT2 makes the original all you need! RCT3 looks like sim theme park, and they kept the jerky track, so it doesn't look as good as some other coaster games *coughNLcough*, but I will probably still buy it. stephenmayes
So is RCT 2 worth my money by itself? Steve
StXBomber
IMO. They had a ton of new features in it. The scenario creator is awesome. You can have a huge area for a dream park. I made one where half of it was coaster recreations, and the other half custom designs. Also money was turned off, so I could build and build, and theme and theme! AZ Kinda Guy
I would highly recommend RCT2. Heck, the Time Twister expansion pack for it is pretty good too.
