April 22, 201115 yr An arbitrator has directed Six Flags Entertainment Corp. to pay $23.65 million to former Chief Financial Officer Jeffrey Speed. The company is considering options, including an appeal. According to a court record in New York, Speed sought arbitration on claims of breach of contract and other claims. Speed's attorney, Douglas H. Wigdor of Thompson Wigdor & Gilly LLP said numerous agreements were violated after Six Flags emerged from bankruptcy last year. April 22, 201115 yr I probably have my wires crossed but: I thought once it went to arbitration, there is no chance of appeals. Either way, that is one HUGE settlement. SIX should have settled before it got this far.
