About once a year, I purge items I have stored away in the basement that go without use. Recently, I pulled out a small box of items that had a few rarer KI/Amusement park souvenirs I had from years ago. I wanted these to go to a fellow KI fan that would enjoy/cherish them as I did. I put them on Ebay because that will ensure that they will be bought by a collector.

One of the items is really rare - the media invite for the hugely guarded secret 2000 attraction that ended up being Son of Beast. Wait until you see what they sent to invite me to the announcement!

I was there media day and got the ride packet they handed out and a SOB pin.

Have both still but keeping mine.

Yes! Another Shaggy auction! I see some items I like. I never was able to get one of the SoB crates. There were plenty of them in Marketing when they were being sent out, and I might have been able to get one if I had asked, but I never did. I did get one off the SoB candy bars though. I ate the chocolate and I think I still have the wrapper somewhere.

I'm still enjoying the IJST remote control car I got from Shaggy's EBay auction last year or the year before. It's in my living room but I haven't driven it in a while.

The media kit box is awesome!

Those VHS/DVD's caught my eye. The Roller Coaster Thrills series is a must own for any coaster enthusiast, I have the very first one but can never find the second one. I actually might make a bid on that one.

This is why I EBay these things... it went to someone that truly has enjoyed it. Hoping for the same on the other items.

Glad you have enjoyed the IJST Car... I'll never forget when that arrived at my place the first go-around... Marketing had literally just stuck a mailing sticker on the box itself and mailed it. I would have liked the original box, but the US Mail was none to kind to it and the cellophane etc was destroyed. It sat on a shelf at my office for years, so I was glad when it ended up in a great home ;-)

I have the first Beast book. I bought it at my elementary schools book place. I got it for $1 when I was in 4th grade. I must have read it 5x in a row haha. Loved it :)

*Side note* Those VHS and DVDs seem cool...

So awesome! My Girlfriend got me the Son of Beast kit as a surprise! Thanks so much Shaggy!

I have a 2003 Cedar Point map with Top Thrill Dragster, very nice.
