RaptorGuy
Raptor Guy's boycott of WindSeeker worked! Just in case you missed my posts, Eric, I've never boycotted WindSeeker. I happen to love that ride! I could ride it forever, but Id have to figure out how to divide my time with DB, Voyage and Raptor. Plus, everyone is entitled to their opinions, and you don't have to make unnecessary rude comments if someone happens to not feel the same. Enough of that, but I do love WindSeeker, but am glad to see the ERT back to DB and Beast!
Hendrick
However, regurgitating the same opinion, over, and over, and over, and over- in multiple threads- and then when the park does not make immediate changes to satisfy those with the opinion, and the same people keep voicing a negative opinion on the park's decisions by making threats (i.e.: I'm not going to the park anymore, I am not going to ride that ride because it's not fun or exciting enough for me, the park is being ruined because of Vortex & WS ERT etc.), over, and over, does not help the discussion(s) Which is more then fine and understandable. I simply brought it up when he grouped everyone who objected together as whiners.

Diamondback FOF
Besides, and back on topic, what rides did Paramount open early for season passholders? Think about that..., What did Paramount advertise they would provide for ERT? It seems from Avatar, PKIVortex, and markr's posts there was something provided to Gold pass members, and I'm sure what they offered is what they provided. Which is what Kings Island is doing now, to their credit, providing what they advertised when we bought our passes. I intend on spending much more time and money at KI as a result of this decision. When I bought my pass it was advertised I'd have ERT on WindSeeker and Vortex, not The Beast and Diamondback....just saying It doesn't bother me because I don't go to ERT and if I did, I'd prefer the updated pair

And that was a circus unto itself when people here found out they'd be "lied to" about it, with some here going so far as to say they'd seek refunds and never step foot on the 300 foot tall swing. Most, to my knowledge, have rescinded that.

Kings Island just can't win with us huh? Maybe they'll open all 4 rides and collectively shut us all up!..... at least until those little fellers start with the rasslin' shows in October. RaptorGuy
Like I said in a previous post, I love WindSeeker, but glad ERT is DB and Beast. You can only get at best 1 or 2 rides on WS during ERT, if it opens at all, but DB you can get 4 or 5 on in the same amount of time. I don't mind the WS line anyway, never waited more than 30 min, and I like the different sound tracks on it!

They must have missed the "Terms & times subject to change". Not to mention, even if KI "lied" and they wanted their money back, all they wanted was the ERT for Beast & DB and not a season pass. Perhaps KI should just offer a season long ERT for $100 and when the park opens and those guests that only want ERT can enjoy the day somewhere else.
