Final day of our 3 day getaway at KI and it started off with some rain which we didn't mind, it felt good and me and the family got to experience Diamondback in the rain AWSOME! The Diamondback is an amazing coaster to say the least! The line moves quicker than it seems I think we waited 15 mins if that to ride, but I could imagine what it was like on opening day.

We made our way to FOF and walked right on, you can never go wrong in choosing to ride the FOF. My history is a bit hazy so correct if I'm wrong but the spaghetti bowl area used to be alot darker back in the day right? Also I don't recall the train slowing down as much as it does now top of midrun

The Firehawk was closed for some reason and so after a quick snack we rode the Red Racer and then the Blue, the front car of the Red. Vortex still closed and the WindSeeker was down when we walked by so on to watch a show To Much TV and it was excellent! Everybody had a great time watching the show, we left the Festhaus and made our way to the DT where we maybe waitied 10 mins to ride. No one was into riding Invertigo or Congo so on to FD, it's such a walk down memory lane so to speak when walking to the station. I remember the fighter jet props, the queue line backed up clear to the entrance, the huge billboard decorated by bird poop lol. I hope FD never dies! She's a unique coaster, and while not a very long ride time FD is worth that long walk.

Time for Boo Hill then an Ice Cream break, we checked out Signed Sealed and Delivered and yet again another top notch show! I have to say the shows at KI are simply the bees knees.

We made it to The Beast and low and behold we got to the station and waited maybe 10 mins? Got on the first car second row and I think that is our favorite spot to sit now, that was the best, smoothest ride I think I've had yet on The Beast yet. By this time it's Backyard BBQ time and WOW we were amazed! The food was very good the buffet offered Pulled Pork, Fried Chicken, MacNcheese, Baked beans, chips, Pickles, Rolls, Brownies and all the soda you could ask for. Another thing I thought was nice ti that they passed out gift bags to all the kids. The contents included: patriotic hats, pinwheels, bubbles, glow stix, necklaces, peace sign sunglasses and a slime toy.

We will be taking advantage of the BBQ again as it saved a ton of money. We then rode the Miami Valley RR and done some shopping and called it a day. We was so wore out we went back to the hotel let the kids swim and watched a movie and crashed for the night. We'll look forward to returning but we might research a nearby campground we was told that is a nice place and cheaper than a hotel.
