stky6 Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 So for anyone who has ridden the WindSeeker at KI and CP anyone think the KI WindSeeker spins a bit faster than CP's? Quote
ziplock Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 It is impossible to notice if there is a speed difference at all. I went on both last week and they feel exactly the same. Maybe someone else could correct me if I'm wrong... Quote
MarketingExpress Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 It would make sense that the winds off Lake Erie would cause some resistance to CP's WS Quote
huber14 Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 I just went to CP 2 weeks ago and KI yesterday and rode WindSeeker at both. I was actually thinking the same thing. I hate fair rides that spin around and only make you sick and it kind of reminded me of that. Also, seems like the KI ride is longer as they spin you at the top for a longer amount of time but that's a good thing if you like the ride. Quote
miniracer Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 Could be easy to fnd out with a gps or cell phone ap. Just zero out the max speed record before getting on the ride then see what the max speed was after the ride. May take a few rides to get a decent average. Quote

Except, no use of electronic devices on ANY ride at KI! Quote

miniracer Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 That's what I meant by setting it before ride and check after riding. No problem with having a cell phone in your pocket recording the speed. Quote
