I definitely agree that it still has that traditional Six Flag park feel , and a couple years of improvements would really bring that park to Cedar Fair level. Although, I'm not sure you can do that without removing all of the DC theming?

I will wave at you as you pass on the west side of Indy on 70. I can almost see 70 from my house for I am 1/4 mile north of the Airport. So when you see the airport control tower you are the closest to my house. You will know when you hit Indiana but not by the sign, but by having to dodge potholes between each state line.

I was waiting in front of Sweet Spot to take video and surprised to see it coming from Coney Mall. Then instead of coming down that side of IS it circles around the ET and they stop in front of the Bandstand and ask the performers start running towards the dressing rooms.

The amount of times KIC or Don gets copied after we do something is almost comical.

I agree with Don here. I want more transparency and park information in general. The little amount the park actually posts and informs people on social media is astounding. An example would be to look at how much we posted on social media about Grand Carnivale versus the park. If they actually posted about the SOB station coming down, we would all be thinking it was some sort of hidden meaning based on their normal posting habits.

That is a great article Don. I love this idea. I also think the tasting cards need to come back for Food and Wine and Grand Carnivale. When we went to Silver Dollar City a few weeks ago, my whole family bought tasting cards and it was a lot of fun. Like you said, we were like, "what do we want to try next." The cards make it fun, which gets people to spend money. I have refused to purchase food at KI's events since the cards disappeared.

Their flash sale looks like the turnstile numbers are not panning out this season anyway. $22.50 is dirt cheap to get those numbers up.

What do you propose they do to increase the quality? If you were to design the food for the park, what would it look like?

I would love an RMC, but I think we need a ground up RMC, not a relocation. Now, if this is the only way to get one, I am all for that too. What are your thoughts?

I wouldn't hold my breath. When you have people bringing baby's in strollers and their 3 to 10 year-olds to Haunt, only to go complain to guest services that things are too graphic, the park can't win. They are in a no-win situation unless they simply stop letting little kids through the turnstiles

Looking forward to riding it next year. Did you learn if there be an easy way to come from the water park to this ride? I know they want people to have shirts/shoes in the dry park, so curious how this will affect those in the water park wanting to come ride this?

Let's hope we start seeing some positive changes across the chain. I have to say the past 2 weeks I have been to SDC, Six New England, Great Adventure, Enchanted's Great Escape and WOF. We really have it good at KI. Now, we can always improve and should, especially the details like the fountain spouts not working, but we are a top tier park in the SIX portfolio.
