Windseeker

Featured Replies

So for anyone who has ridden the WindSeeker at KI and CP anyone think the KI WindSeeker spins a bit faster than CP's?

It is impossible to notice if there is a speed difference at all. I went on both last week and they feel exactly the same. Maybe someone else could correct me if I'm wrong...

I just went to CP 2 weeks ago and KI yesterday and rode WindSeeker at both. I was actually thinking the same thing. I hate fair rides that spin around and only make you sick and it kind of reminded me of that. Also, seems like the KI ride is longer as they spin you at the top for a longer amount of time but that's a good thing if you like the ride.

Could be easy to fnd out with a gps or cell phone ap. Just zero out the max speed record before getting on the ride then see what the max speed was after the ride. May take a few rides to get a decent average.

Except, no use of electronic devices on ANY ride at KI!

I guess you could start it before you got on the ride and then check it again when you get off.

That's what I meant by setting it before ride and check after riding. No problem with having a cell phone in your pocket recording the speed.
