FeartheFour
I'm planning on taking a trip down to the Island on the 3rd of September. I'm meeting some friends I don't see a whole lot and was wondering how the crowds would be on that saturday. I went this year during Spirit Song and was shocked with the crowd. It was the worst I have never seen Kings Island this crowded. I had to wait 30 minutes just to ride Viking Fury... And that never has a wait. I want to have an enjoyable time with my friends with a minimal wait . Please reply with past experiences to the park during Labor Day Weekend. kingsrattler
You can expect about the same waits Labor Day weekend. It's one of the busiest of the year, especially for the local crowd.
smokeatr23
I'm going Monday, Labor day. How was Saturday? Hopefully Monday Won't be too bad. It's supposed to be around 70deg. for the high, so it won't be too bad regardless.
The Interpreter
Given there is currently a 40 percent chance of showers in the morning, I'd think that would hold down crowds quite a bit, especially if it does rain in the 6 to 10 a. m. timeframe. Colonel_SoB_fan
Looking at the webcams, it looks packed today
RD Reynolds
There was like no one there on Friday. Probably due to it being 100 degrees! But it was a great time - walked on basically everything, including The Beast at night, which is the greatest ride on the planet.
The Interpreter
And now the rain for Labor Day has essentially disappeared from NWS's forecast for Mason.
Dieseltech20
Yesterday (Saturday) was an awesome day at the park. Most everything was a walk on most of the day. Once the heat let up some and the bay closed the lines grew a little but not to bad. Even with park dead they made a killing on Fast Lane passes. Funny thing though, they were not assigning seats on Diamondback all day, yet were on Flight of Fear.
FeartheFour
I can double that. The crowds were not bad at all. We rode Invertigo 8 times in a row without getting out of our seats at 8 o clock. We were also able to ride Firehawk twice with a 20 minute wait time both times. We waited 15 minutes for Diamondaback. 5 minutes for TBLSC. Had to wait a little longer for The Beast even though it was a station wait and thats because someone got a little too excited. We rode WindSeeker with a walk on and drop zone with a walk on too. It was a very enjoyable day at the park. The only part that i could cpmplain about is while waiting for the back two rows of seats on The Beast a mother and her 3 kids walked in through the fastlane, which is right next to those two rows. They showed me their braclets and told me they were aloud to cut in front of me. I told them no they were not and she got very deffensive telling em how she bought the wristbands and they GUARENTEED her to ditch. I got an employee and told the incident to them and they delt accordingly. It really ticked me off her thinking that just because she had fastlane on a non crowded day i must add she had the right to get on the train when i was already waiting in the line to board. KIfan73
Holy cow, every time I've taken a look at the webcams today, there has been a line for Dinosaurs Alive! Park looks extremely packed. I went on a Labor Day about 7 years ago, and it was totally nuts.
Colonel_SoB_fan
I can attest it was crowded today. In the 4 hours I was there, all I did was Flight of Fear, Racer, Delirum, and American Country. Beast was 90 minutes, Diamondback was about a hour wait. Firehawk, Son of Beast, WindSeeker were all down, AE, Viking Fury, Racer, allhad lines out to the midway. Vortex was backed up pretty far.
