Favorite halloween Haunt Maze

We saw signs for FastFright for $30.00, I had thought it was $20.00. The lines for Haunts moved quickly.

The Saturday prices are higher than those on Fridays. Fridays are $20–$30, depending on number purchased, while Saturdays are $30–$40. It's been that way since the start of Haunt this year.

I only went through Tombstone Territory once...but it was by far my favorite of the evening...and most of that was because of the amazing fog on/in the bridge. (Sorry Sam...although you did a great job on my second trip through Slaughter House!)

The Wolfpack was naught but hirsute young men with Obsession Compulsive Hoarding Tendencies to me.

I must admit that a lot of the decor went over my head also...the bed frames...the bikes?

I suspect they were trophies of victims? I dunno.

All I could think of is that in their communal hairy lair, is that if some noob put a license plate on the bike wall, there would be a household meeting and he would quickly be shamed into place.

The same treatment would go if he used the red sponge for cleaning the sink, and not the yellow one.

I wonder when macrame night is.

Yeah, I didn't really understand Wolf Pack's theming, either. Doesn't make it any less creepy when the actors are using them to their advantage, though.

I voted for Holiday Horror. That one's consistently been the most fun (and FUN, particularly in the President's Day room ;) ) every time I've been through. I really love the flower costumes as well... They're incredibly misleading. They look like props, but when the actor scares you, you can see they're actually some of the best costumes Haunt has to offer.

I would have voted for Slauter House; except there are two scareators everytime that we go into it like to get into my wifes face and blow (little spit) just inches from her face; We both find this discusting.

I've seen people do that in there and I'm not a fan of it. I wouldn't like someone to blow their stinky breath on me and possibly get inadvertently spit on. There's a ton of other ways to get people's attention.

That's quite alright. I also like the fog on the bridge in Tombstone. When you came through Slaughter House on Friday you didn't get the full effect of the room, so when I saw you from my hiding spot on Saturday I had to make up for that!

City Beat came out with their review of Haunt:http://www.citybeat....ween_haunt.html

The scariest attractions are Wolf Pack, Club Blood and Massacre Manor.

These mazes have the best actors in the park and go the distance to get you to scream. Consider the rest of the haunts a mixed bag of scream therapy. Holiday Horror was kind of flat, Carnevil is a fun clown-themed haunt that’s not too intense for kids and Urgent Scare showed well, offering a visible improvement over last year. In general, expect good haunts but not great ones. It’s a mixed bag and will satisfy most cravings for a big plate of macabre.

I don't agree with them 100%, but then again I am a little biased...

Are you saying that you actually remembered me? If so I am impressed...especially since we have only met once...plus the thousands of people coming through each night.

When I came into your room on Saturday night I figured that you were either on break or off that night...I give you credit...I NEVER would have guessed your hiding place...or how you came out of it! (I don't wanna give anything away. ;) )

(By the way, do you guys even get breaks?)

^Yeah, I remembered you. I don't know how, since it was just about a year ago that we met and I'm usually terrible with names & faces. I think what made you stand out was that you took one of my favorite pictures of Sam, the one with Mama & Bubba. So yes, when I said to you on Friday, "I know you're staying for dinner!", I knew who you were.

I love using the tactic I used on you Saturday. Lure people into a false sense of security, and just when you think nothing's going to happen... BAM!, here comes Sam!

We can take breaks if we want, but I only take about 5-10 minutes each night. Just enough to get some fresh air and get off my feet for a few. I just like scaring to be gone from there for too long, and I don't want to miss anyone I might know.

Thar be a Holiday Horror spoiler in this post. Warning everyone now.

^ The clock disoriented me so bad in Holiday Horror. I usually don't get disoriented in haunts, but that definitely did.

Dude, the clock completely caught me off-guard. I've been through it 4 times over the past 3 weekends, and the first three times the clock did nothing. I just assumed it was a clock to make the Thanksgiving room feel a bit more "cozy". The fourth time, the clock rushed me personally. I can shamelessly say that I flipped out. I had zero idea that was a costume! The same thing goes to a lesser degree for the scarecrow/jack-o-lantern in the Halloween room... I couldn't tell if it was just a prop that they made look just enough like a person to distract people or if it was actually a person. I figured it out pretty quickly when it jumped in my friend's face and shrieked, "Trick or treat! Bahahaha!"
