Yikes! Well, the good news is, no injuries or deaths. Or destroyed roller coasters that force the park to close, like what happened to Idora Park in 1984 (for those who don't know, their #1 signature coaster, The Wildcat, caught fire and was badly damaged and could not be repaired, and without it their attendance dropped drastically to the point it forced the park to close).

Nonetheless, it's going to cost some $$$ to re-build that Corn Dog Stand...

Which wooden coaster was that used to be shown on the roller coaster shows that were on Discovery channel way back in the mid to late 90s? Was that Idora park? All I know is it had a fairly large fire and every once in awhile I remember seeing it on TV when such news like this happen.
